Overview
Mikumi National park is well known for its large population of wild animals such as Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, over 300 bird species and many others. Due to its abundance in wilderness animals can be easily seen in Mikumi national park. From dar es salaam via Morogoro road Mikumi is the most accessible national park compared to many others in Tanzania. Visit Mikumi national park for the best experience of wilderness.
Itinerary
Day 1 Dar es salaam to Mikumi National Park
Early in the morning Pick up from your accommodation or Airport then drive to Mikumi national park, breakfast will be served at Chalinze on the way to Mikumi. After arrival in Mikumi National park you will check in at Mikumi Bandas for lunch and short break then proceed with late afternoon game drive until sunset where you will be returned to Mikumi Bandas for dinner and cover night stay.
Day 2 Mikumi to Dar es salaam
Morning around 06:00 you will be served with a cup of coffee or tea then proceed with early morning game drive thereafter you will have full continental breakfast at Mikumi Bandas. After breakfast you will continue with game view drive for 2hours until 11:00 you will exit the park and depart to Dar es salaam. Hot lunch will be served around 1:00pm in Morogoro town on the way to Dae es salaam. After arrival in Dar es salaam and drop off at your location that will mark the end your trip.
