Itinerary
Day 1 Dar es salaam to Mikumi National Park
The journey will begin at your accommodation in the morning hours where you will be picked up by a 4×4 pop-up safari car and drive to Mikumi via Morogoro road. You will have lunch on the way to Mikumi. After arrival to Mikumi you will check in at Camp Bastian thereafter you will enter the park for sunset game drive at Mikumi national park here you will be see animals such as Lions, Giraffes, Buffalos, large groups of different bird species, Hippos at hippo pool in Mikumi and so many more. After sunset you will be returned to Camp Bastian for dinner and cover night stay.
Day 2 Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains
In the morning hours after breakfast you will check out at Camp Bastian and start travelling to Udzungwa mountains with packed lunch box from your accommodation. After arrival at Udzungwa you will start trekking on the Udzungwa mountains taking Sanje route for proper view of the four stage water falls all the way to the top of the Udzungwa mountains while enjoying exciting natural environment inhabited by different animal species and beautiful birds. Thereafter in the late afternoon you will be travelling back to Mikumi national park. After arrival to Mikumi you will check in at Mikumi Cottages for dinner and cover night stay.
Day 3 Morning Game Drive at Mikumi and Drive to Isimila Stone Age Site
Early in the morning you will be served with a cup of coffee to prepare for morning game drive, here you will have a chance to see nature awakening featured by amazing sounds of different bird species and many animals beginning their daily routine in their naturel habitats. The unforgettable game drive will continue at Mikumi national park until 10:00 where you will be returned to your accommodation for full continental breakfast. Thereafter you will check out at Mikumi cottages and start travelling to Isimila Stone Age Site with packed lunch box from your accommodation that will be served on the way to Isimila Stone Age Site. After arrival in Iringa region you will check in at Iringa Sunset Hotel for dinner and cover night stay.
Day 4 Hiking and Museum Visiting at Isimila Stone Age Site and Drive to Dar es salaam
Morning after breakfast you will check out at your accommodation and drive to Isimila Stone Age Site. After arrival and entering Isimila Stone Age Site you will be Visiting remarkable historical sites in Islmila, you will visit museum for historical exhibition of the ancient civilizations including tools used in the stone ages, scriptures and monuments of the ancient ages. Thereafter you will exit Isimila Stone Age Site and start travelling to Dar es salaam. You will have hot lunch on the way to Dar es salaam. After arrival and drop off to your location, that will mark the end of your trip.
