Overview
This safari trip will take you to the biggest national park in Tanzania, the great Ruaha national park but also Mikumi national park and Maasai visiting. Within these two national parks you will see incredible vegetation, amazing landscapes and spectacular animals such as Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Hippos, Giraffes, massive number of bird species and so many more.
DAY 1 Dar es salaam to Mikumi national park
The journey will begin in the morning hours soon after breakfast where you will be picked up from your accommodation to Mikumi national park. After arrival to Mikumi you will check in at Mikumi Bandas for lunch and prepare for sunset game drive. After sunset game drive you will be returned to Mikumi Badas for dinner and cover night stay.
DAY 2 Mikumi to Ruaha national park
In the morning hours you will be served with a cup of coffee at your accommodation then begin with morning game drive at Mikumi national parks. You will continue with morning game drive until 10:00am where you will have full continental breakfast at Mikumi Bandas restaurant. Thereafter you will check out at your accommodation and start travelling to Ruaha national park. On the way to Ruaha national park you will stop at Iringa Sunset Hotel near Ruaha national park for dinner and cover night stay.
DAY 3 Full game drive at Ruaha national park
Early in the morning after breakfast you will start full game drive at Ruaha national park with packed lunch box from your accommodation. The unforgettable game drive will continue until sunset where you will be heading to Ruaha cottages for dinner and cover night stay within the park.
DAY 4 Full game drive at Ruaha national park
Early in the morning after breakfast you will begin full game drive at Ruaha national park with packed lunch box from your accommodation that will served on afternoon hours within the park. Full game view drive will continue until sunset where you will be returned to Ruaha Cottages for dinner and cover night stay
DAY 5 Ruaha to Mikumi national park
Morning after breakfast you will check out at your accommodation and start travelling back to Mikumi national park. Lunch will be on the way to Mikumi. After arrival to Mikumi you will check in at Camp Bastian for dinner and cover night stay.
DAY 6 Maasai visiting at Mikumi and depart to Dar es salaam
Morning after breakfast you will proceed with Maasai visiting. Here you will learn much about Maasai ways of life, not only that but also you will have a chance to join Maasai tradional dance, taking pictures and purchasing handmade commodities made by Maasai people. Thereafter you will begin travelling back to Dar es sallam. You will have hot lunch in Morogoro town on the way to Dar es salaam. After arrival in Dar es salaam, that will mark the end of your trip.
