Please review the terms that govern your booking and travel with us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a tour with Fresh Mood Treks, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Booking & Payment
- Booking: Contact us directly at freshmoodltd@gmail.com to initiate a booking.
- Deposit: A non‑refundable deposit of 35% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 1 day prior to the tour start date.
- Payment Methods: Credit card, bank transfer, or cash.
- Fees: Bank or processing charges are borne by the client unless otherwise stated.
3. Tour Itinerary & Modifications
- Guideline Itinerary: Itineraries may change due to weather, road closures, park rules, or other factors beyond our control.
- Changes: We will try to accommodate reasonable requests. Additional costs from amendments may apply.
4. Cancellation Policy
Fresh Mood Treks may cancel a contract for valid reasons. In case of international disasters (e.g., disease outbreaks), refunds of amounts paid will be issued minus bank charges and any hotel booking fees already incurred. Hotel booking fees and bank deductions vary by provider and amount.
- 35% of total tour cost if cancelled 5 days or more before start date.
- 30% of total tour cost if cancelled 6 to 10 days before start date.
- 50% of total tour cost if cancelled less than 2 days before start or in case of no‑show.
Alternative schedule (if specified in your agreement):
- Cancellation 3 weeks before: 40% charge.
- Cancellation 1 week before: 50% charge.
- Cancellation 24 hours before: 80% charge.
All cancellations must be in writing by the person who submitted the booking form, sent from your own email to the company email address. Once a tour has started, no refunds are provided for any unused services.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellation, baggage, and personal effects is highly recommended.
6. Liability
- We are not liable for loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from acts of God, force majeure, or circumstances beyond our control.
- You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the tour.
7. Health & Safety
- Ensure you are fit to undertake the tour and comply with health advisories and vaccination requirements.
- Respect and adhere to local laws, park regulations, and cultural customs.
8. Complaints & Disputes
- Report issues immediately to your guide or a Fresh Mood Treks representative so we can assist.
- Post‑tour complaints should be submitted in writing within 10 days of trip completion.
- Disputes are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
9. Requirements
- Travel Documents: Valid passport, visas, permits, and certificates (as required). Follow our guidance on special equipment based on climate or other factors.
- Payments: Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 35% deposit. All bookings are made by Fresh Mood Treks.
10. Additional Considerations
- Visa requirements and assistance.
- Accommodation standards and options.
- Meal plans included in your package.
- Transportation modes during the tour.
- Guide and driver qualifications and experience.
