Also, this park is well known for its population of Elephant, giraffe, buffaloes, zebras, elands, greater kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed ox pecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller.

Day-by-day breakdown of your incredible journey
Morning after breakfast meet and greet with our presentative in Dar es Salaam and drive to Mikumi National Park, enjoy 4 to 5-hour drive. You journey through the diverse Tanzanian landscapes, you'll witness the beauty of the countryside and its ever-changing scenery. Halfway through your drive, stop in the vibrant town of Morogoro for a delightful lunch, then you will have 2hrs from Morogoro Town to Mikumi. Check in Maasai village where you will dive into the heart of Maasai culture, visit a traditional Maasai village where you’ll engage in vibrant Maasai dances and learn about the fascinating customs and traditions of this remarkable community. After an enriching cultural experience, drive to Mikumi National Park for late afternoon game drive until sunset thereafter you will be heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Early in the morning you will be served with a cup of coffee and start your morning game drive for the last moment at Mikumi national park. In this day you will have a chance to experience nature awakening. Beautiful songs of nature by variety bird species that will be prominent in the woodland such as Lilac-breasted Roller, Yellow-throated Longclaw, Black-bellied Bastard to mention but few. In this morning game drive you will be exposed to variety features of different wildlife species. Such features including grazing for large mammals like Buffalos, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippopotami and others. Such animal species become highly active in the cooler morning hours. They feed to replenish energy. Other features are congregation in the water sources and many more. After your morning game drive you will be served with full continental breakfast. Followed by checking out at your accommodation and exit the park on your way back to Dar es Salaam. Hot lunch will be served on the way to Dar es Salaam, upon arrival and drop off at your preferred location that will mark the end of your trip.
